Of course, Chris was not the only offender in this disaster. Patrick, having moved from his own apartment to a single room in the family home, kept many, many props and costumes from various shows in the basement. Here are two wigs from his play The Illusion of You. Patrick has no need for these wigs, and they're not his to begin with, so they needed to go.
Patrick also had a serious collection of bad pop 45 records that can no longer be played, as there is no turntable in the house. Here is a selection of his musical "tastes", including Go West, Men Without Hats, and Animotion. No, there was never a one-hit-wonder that Patrick didn't appreciate and think that he would love as his "favorite band ever." Luckily, he was broke and only bought the singles.
Not so for his mother, who has an incredibly large collection of albums she never wants to listen to again. Included in this selection are a K-tel disco album, a Duane Eddy recording, and some guy that the "Clean Sweep" team could not identify.
This is one of three stacks of children's video tapes. Most of them do not have their original sleeves, and will most likely be out-of-date by the time the new baby arrives in August. These were earmarked to go to the local public library.
Looking for NASCAR tapes? Look no further! Every NASCAR race since 1984 has been dutifully recorded to watch over and over again. As one might suspect, Chris is the perpetrator of all these tapes, to go along with his extensive car part collection.
Patrick thought he was very clever this year, buying the twins' birthday presents well in advance of their actual birthdays. However, he forgot entirely that he had purchased these items and they have been "hiding" in the basement since around September. (The twins' birthday is in December, and it is currently February). It is going to be Christmas all over again for the twins, though Julia may feel left out. However, since these items are sharable projects, not too much fighting is expected.
