Berlin, 3.08.00
Okay, this will be rather breathless. I'm alive, I want to do some writing, but between working two jobs (bike mechanic and tour guide) and training almost every day and various other things, I really don't have much time. It's weird having non-computer jobs again, you sort of forget about your (almost former) online life.
We're doing much better. I'm much, much more comfortable with the arrival of the future second quadriped in just under three months' time. It's a girl and her name will be Madeleine Sarah. (We haven't quite sorted out the order of the last names yet.) I'm even beginning to consult on the purchase of wheeled vehicles! Whee!
We don't totally know how long we'll be in Berlin. At least until late November, after the baby's born, but I want to stay longer. To that end I have two job interviews this week, one in less than an hour in fact. The first is for webmaster at the embassy of a major European power, the second at a leading German multimedia/design firm. Should be interesting.
Okay, no more time. Must leave soon. Will write again.
