Blah

I seem to be coming down with a cold, and I left work early and spent the later afternoon resting up (mainly reading The Anubis Gates). I don't actually feel that crummy (sore throat, sneezing, that's about it), but my body has that feeling of tiredness and creaking joints that tells me it's actually working pretty hard to fight something off. Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow, but if not then I guess I'll stay home from work. I certainly have enough freakin' sick days saved up!

The cats have been happy to have me home, lying in bed, reading, though.

I've been guzzling water like mad. I bought a huge container of bottled stuff this morning and went through the whole thing during the day, and I still feel parched. My friend John has pretty much convinced me after visiting him last week that I should drink less crap (read: sugary and caffeinated stuff) and drink more straight water.

On the way home I picked up the photos I took during my trip. Most of them turned out well, although some of the ones taken in bright sunlight seem rather fuzzy. I wonder why that is? I mean, I could understand if they just seemed over-lit if the angle of the sun was wrong, but fuzzy? The only one I really regretted was that my one good photo of John came out rather fuzzy.

I'll see if I can put some of them up later this week, borrow the scanner at work or something.

Some random Apple person read my Journal earlier this afternoon. I wonder who it was? Likely candidates are John, Ben or Mike, but there are other possibilities. Maybe one of them will be sending me irate e-mail about my trip entry later on. Hm.
